I’m looking for a Strategic Partnership mid-level role in an advertising tech organization, where I can grow and scale partner accounts with a mixture of upselling and optimization.
I’m most impactful when:
• You need a consultant/advisor to clients, to build relationships and trust in order to progress strategic long-term projects that result in higher efficiencies and less friction across stakeholders.
• There are so many projects that you must determine what priority levels certain tasks should be at, or decide deadlines for projects in grey areas, help lead troubleshooting efforts and jump in when I recognize someone starts to feel lost.
The kind of organization that would get the best from me is:
• I am able to communicate effectively across different teams in order to best prioritize and work collaboratively to progress projects. I operate well when there are well-defined goals from leadership but I am given independence to make decisions on my own to benefit the business. Frequent communication and knowledge sharing so that no one skips a beat.
What are some of your key accomplishments?
• At a previous position, I calculated and provided a revenue opportunity estimate and gave them education on the sales channel to warm them up to it. For them to get comfortable and understand the positive impact it would have on their business I led education sessions on the sales channel but also the methodology of the calculations and how it used historical performance data. The result was them agreeing on the $25M/yr figure feasibility and agreeing to onboard!
• At another job, I helped grow an audio publisher 300% YoY by digging into key optimizations they could make with their setup within the SSP, signals they were sending in the bid stream such as ads.txt and sellers.json, holding training sessions so that they understood more of the platform and how to best operate using that specific technology. We developed a great working relationship, able to come together and grow a mutual respect. I evangelized their business internally and on external calls to buyers so that they understood the value of the inventory they’d be getting access to. Additionally, I built out internal and external facing documentation to streamline troubleshooting, processes and help bolster conversations when necessary.
