FatTail is looking for a VP of Publisher Development with strong industry contacts and
knowledge of the business challenges faced by publishers and the tech solutions available
today to address them. In this role, you’ll leverage your connections to cultivate and close new
sales opportunities. You will also be expected to expand your existing network of relationships
through prospecting and general outreach. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record
of consistently meeting sales objectives and a strong desire to help publishers drive
incremental value and profitability.
Ongoing product training will be provided and this position will be further supported with sales
engineering and product management resources. This is a remote position with regular travel.

As a VP of Publisher Development you will work to…
● Quickly become well-versed in our industry-leading products and services
● Demonstrate clear ability to prospect and drive acquisition of new business
● Network and engage with prospective clients to generate sales leads
● Cultivate a business development strategy to achieve the appropriate growth for the
business & provide quarterly forecasts of expected growth
● Penetrate target accounts at corporate levels to develop an intimate understanding of
customer’s business, technical issues and organizational structure, and document
using appropriate systems
● Move client prospects through the funnel from consideration to executed contract
● Effectively manage strategic partnerships
● Conduct substantial research on clients to bolster outreach and pitches
● Collaborate across product, client success and marketing to ensure clients’ ongoing
and often changing needs are continuously met.
● Maintain accurate CRM data
● Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals
As a VP of Publisher Development you will bring to the table…
● 4 or more years of sales experience and strategic partnerships in the ad tech space
● Demonstrable track record of success in landing and growing targeted accounts
● Knowledge of and passion for, the digital media space, the ad tech and digital
advertising industry, and SaaS revenue enablement platforms
● A robust network of established relationships within the premium publisher ecosystem
● Professionalism, creativity, a desire to problem solve, effective communication,
presentation and negotiation skills

● Base salary + commission (uncapped on all booked revenue)
